Search every summer course approved by the Department of Education for EPV days. Filter by topic, county, format, price and date — something the official register doesn't let you do.
EPV days are paid days you can take off during the school year, earned by completing a summer course approved by the Department of Education. A 20-hour course earns 3 days, and 5 is the most you can hold in any one school year.
Apply in writing to your Board of Management and include the Certificate of Completion your provider issues. The days are taken during the following school year, and granting them is at the Board's discretion. The entitlement comes from rule 58 of the Rules for National Schools.
Every course listed here is on the Department's approved register. Courses that aren't approved earn you no EPV days, however good they look — which is the main reason this site exists.
